What if there was a pop-up department store where everything was free? And it was also a party with food, drinks, music, live screenprinting, and excellent people? And proceeds from the ticket sales went to charity?
Well this is actually a thing! It's called Score! Pop Up Swap and it's taking place in San Francisco on Thursday August 21st. All the details can be found HERE.
Mark your calendar for Thursday August 21st from 5-8pm. Score! is turning SoMa StrEat Food Park into a pop-up department store where everything is free.
Here is how the event works: attendees brings their old clothes, accessories (shoes, jewelry, bags, etc), books, art supplies, housewares or vinyl records, and buys tickets for entry. Once inside, everyone drops off their old items at curated departments, and then takes whatever they like! Plus there's music, food, drinks, nail art, screenprinting & photobooths.
Best part? Proceeds from this event benefit Hack the Hood - an amazing organization that provides design and technical training to low-income youth, who then use their skills to support local businesses and non-profits in the Bay Area.
